In 2016 was the first year of the Intrust Super re-brand of the competition to the rather wordy 'Intrust Super Premiership'. As a result there was the new competition badge that brought it into alignment with all competitions run by the NRL. Goodfellows changed their logo to the revised 'GFS' and 'Vic On The Park' sleeve sponsor was also revised - all in all a pretty revolutionary year for the Jets home jersey! The away jersey was another concept that I came up with, again not the actual jersey just the concept. Although I was happy with the end result, naturally it's going to be difficult to combine the Jetman logo withe the major sponsor. The idea was this jersey would appeal to the younger fans of the club. During the early 80's all the first grade sides in the NSWRL had logos that had their mascots breaking through the badges as a start to branch out into different marketing and merchandise ideas. The jersey on the bottom is a players cut which differs from the supporters cut version. Namely it has a GPS pocket under the neck line, the material is lighter and stretchier, plus it has a tapered waist. Interestingly this has the competition badge stuck on to the jersey as opposed to printed into the fabric like the rest of the logos/badges.
